Learn your Fractions and Match!

Each player gets 8 hand cards to begin! From your hand cards, identify the different kinds of fractions using numbers, words or images. The goal is to make pairs with all of them. The first to do so, wins!

Making Whole Pairs!

Fracto is all about making whole pairs! A whole pair is when you combine 2 fractions and they add up to 1! Find the whole pairs in your hand cards and place them face down in front of you.

Refresh your hand each turn!

After making your whole pairs, pick a card either from the main deck or from the discard pile. See if you can make a whole pair now. If yes, place the pair down. Else, drop any 1 card on top of the discard pile and your turn ends.

Forget and you pick cards!

When you have only two cards in your hand you must call out ‘FRACTO’. If you don’t and any player catches you, you will have to pick up 4 cards. The game continues till any player finishes all their hand cards and makes whole pairs with them!

Become a speed machine!

The second game is a fast-paced, slap-your-card variant. Once again, you must make whole pairs but here, you can’t see your cards! If you drop a card that makes a pair with the one below it you get the entire deck below! First to finish their cards, wins the game!

Test your memory!

The third game is a memory challenge. Lay out 16 closed cards and give each player 7 cards. On your turn, open 1 card and make a whole pair with 1 of your hand cards. If you can, drop the pair. Else, close the card. But now, other players have seen it! First to finish their hand cards, wins the game!
